Boston University accepts a wide variety of students withJul 16 2012Psychology
Boston University accepts a wide variety of students with pretty diverse backgrounds. I can't say that I did anything specific to be accepted here, because honestly, the best thing you can do is put your best foot forward for every application. I worked hard, studied hard, and am passionate about my education. I also did extra-curricular activities and played soccer. However, I am just one student out of about 16,000 undergrads.

Great atmosphere and peopleJun 12 2012Geography and Geosciences
Great atmosphere and people. BUT the university advisors do not help you and seems like the university wants students to NOT graduate and pay another $50 grand to take an additional semester because they r all greedy as ever. I've never experienced this horrible of advising from academic officials and it is a shame that the university even allows for these people to continue working there.

Good grades, some extracurriculars. Do well on standardized tests and make your essays interesting.

I would not recommend this school based on theApr 06 2012Biology
I would not recommend this school based on the arrogant, self-absorbed faculty (except art department) and the fact that they bring down your GPA shamefully - yes it challenges you to strive and work harder, but that will also make it so much more difficult for anyone to put a great GPA on their resume or on their grad school applications.
